This Beneteau 57 designed by Bruce Farr is a nice example of a carefully used cruising yacht. Her second and actual owners have only used her 3 to 4 months a year and the rest of the year she was standing on the hard under a complete winter cover to protect her from the elements. She has wide teak laid decks, a hydraulic opening transom and a teak laid center cockpit. And although having a 17.80-meter overall length she is quite easy to handle with her in-mast furling main sail, furling genoa, her never used gennaker, electric winches, and hydraulic steering. Furthermore, equipped with an 160hp diesel engine, bow thruster, folding prop, generator, battery chargers, alternators, and a complete Raymarine navigation package including radar and AIS. Further to that, a water maker, a bimini and a sprayhood from 2021, a deluxe cockpit table with inbuilt fridge, covers, etc.
The interior of this Beneteau 57 is classic yet stylish and spacious yet cosy. She can accommodate up to 8 overnight guests in her 4 cabins. There are two double bed cabins located forward, each with an ensuite head with electric toilet, that share the shower compartment located in the bow. The third guest cabin with bunk beds with own head compartment amidships is located on starboard side. The passageway aft connects the saloon to the generous master cabin with island bed and ample ensuite bathroom. To port aft you´ll find the semi-open fully equipped galley. Of course, she is fitted out with everything you need to travel in great comfort, like; air conditioning throughout, TV’s, dishwasher, and a washing machine.
