Hinckley 36 Picnic EP

Hinckley 36 Picnic EP

The Hinckley 36 Picnic EP (Extended Pilothouse) is undoubtedly the most iconic Downeast-style boat ever produced. Many imitations followed, but no one has ever beaten the authentic style, class, and quality of a Hinckley.  ZaZa’s hull is made of Kevlar/E-glass hybrid outer skin with balsa and Corecell core carbon fibre inner skin, scrimped with Vinylester resin.  She is powered by a strong 440 hp Yanmar diesel engine. And with the Hamilton Jet Drive she has a draft of just 48 centimetres. This means that you aren’t limited to deep waters and that you can go where no other 36-footer dares to go to. The bow thruster, jet drive, and Hinckley’s patented JetStick Steering ensure precise docking, manoeuvrability at low speeds and easy handling while cruising. ZaZa is furthermore equipped with a Raymarine navigation package including radar, small wetbar with sink, complete cockpit cover, window covers, cushions, a sun awing, fishing rod holders, adjustable cockpit table and adjustable helm chairs.

The Hinckley 36 Picnic EP boat is mostly used for day excursions. But she is also comfortable enough for weekend cruising. She is even fitted out with a reversible air conditioning system. She features a V-berth in the bow that can be converted into a double bed with the additional infill cushion, a compact galley with 2-burner stove, fridge and microwave, and a head compartment with electric toilet. Hinckleys for sale in Europe are a rarity… And now there is a beautiful 36 Picnic EP boat in the Mediterranean waiting for a new owner. If you are looking for a timeless, easily driven head turner then this is an opportunity not to be missed.
