Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 40

Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 40

This Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 40, one of Jeanneau’s best-sellers, is a stable and solid built cruising yacht. The current owner, owner of a yacht management company, has maintained and updated her very well. And that is evidenced by the facts that; the complete standing rigging has been replaced in 2019, that all technical and electrical gear is in up-to-date condition, and that there are loads and loads of spare parts on board. She is very well equipped with a 56hp diesel engine, bow thruster, feathering prop, complete navigation package including radar and hydrovane, solar panel, dinghy with outboard, etc. She is cutter-rigged and her sail-wardrobe consists of a slab-reefing main sail, a genoa, a gennaker and a staysail.

This Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 40 can accommodate up to 6 overnight guests. The master cabin with double v-berth is located forward and the two guest cabins with double bed are located aft. The head compartment is located amidships to port. The L-shaped galley adjoins the companionway on starboard, followed by the saloon. The interior is comfortably fitted out with a Webasto heating system that has been revised in 2021. If you are looking for a well-maintained and well-equipped 40 footer with good sailing characteristics then this might be the yacht for you.

This yacht has been sold. We wish the new owners many happy years on board!

A fine & fast forty-footer!
